Festive tradition to kick off Wayne State University's 150th academic year.

What: 
Wayne State University administrators, faculty and staff will welcome new students and their families to the university's 150th academic year during the New Student Convocation.

More than 2,000 incoming students and family members are expected to attend.

When: 
10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2017

Where:
Convocation will be held in Wayne State's Community Arts Auditorium with simulcast in both DeRoy Auditoriums.
