Wayne State University’s School of Medicine commencement, May 16

WHAT:
After years of intense studying and clinical rotations in and around Detroit, the 283 men and women who make up the Wayne State University School of Medicine Class of 2016 will earn the title of doctor. The next step is residency, with 52.6 percent of our graduates joining residency programs in Michigan. Among the grads: at age 21, Ola Hadaya is likely the youngest graduate in School of Medicine history; and Adam Hafeez and Fatima Noorulla, who met and married in medical school, and became new parents only a few weeks ago.
