What: Wayne State University, in partnership with the Consulate of Italy in Detroit and Leonardo International, will host the first Italian Technological Excellence in the U.S. conference and expo, with the goal of strengthening the relationship between Italian companies and universities in the greater Detroit area.

The expo will include exhibits from more than 20 of Italy’s leading engineering and tech companies. Media are invited to photograph the exhibits and speak to company executives, as well as attend both panel discussions with an in-depth focus on autonomous vehicles, robotics and advanced medical technologies.

Media are also invited to attend the showcase and speak with students about their experiences conducting hands-on research, collaborating with industry and studying engineering and computer science in Detroit. For a full schedule of events, visit go.wayne.edu/ITEUS.
