Wayne State students volunteer for MLK Day of service

WHAT: More than 150 Wayne State University students have decided to serve the United Way of Southeastern Michigan and will spend the holiday volunteering at different locations throughout the metro Detroit area. Some responsibilities include cleaning up Belle Isle, distributing food at Gleaners Warren and boarding up abandoned houses as a part of the Urban Safety Project.
