The Wayne State University Board of Governors will hold its next regular meeting Wednesday, Sept. 18, in WSU's Alumni House on campus.
The board meetings are divided into three different sessions. The board's standing committee meetings begin at 11 a.m., and are open to the public. The board then takes a two-hour break for a private executive session. Following the break, the board returns for a public session at 4 p.m.
The agenda for the meeting and documents to be discussed may be accessed at the board's Web site, www.bog.wayne.edu, on Sept. 13.

Wayne State University's Board of Governors is one of three university governing bodies in Michigan (including the University of Michigan and Michigan State University) that has constitutional independence. Voters throughout Michigan elect its members, who serve eight-year terms.
